iPhone 12 iPhone12 hdr recording options

Looks like iPhone 12 hdr video recording is limited to 30 FPS only even at 1080p or am I missing something? Also the quality seems way lower than 12 pro max!! I wanted to keep the 12 but now confused. The weight and size of 12 pro max is very inconvenient.

iPhone 12 Dolby vision can go up to 4k but only at 30fps.

It must be a software limitation done on purpose

12 Pro and Pro Max have 6 GB RAM vs. 4 GB on the other 12 models...

Also 12 portraits are NOT good. Although I like the 12 due to the lightness, I am switching back to pro max for cameras.
Hopefully, I can get used to the weight and size🙂
