Would anyone have gotten ahold of your device? This issue usually comes up with a phone that's been jailbroken. Just making absolute sure.

    How long has it been?

Try holding both the power and home buttons together for about 30 seconds (or less if the phone turns on).

Did you try holding the home and power buttons at the same time for at least 30 seconds as I had suggested?
