Yes it can peel in a few weeks. It is a film with an adhesive... It really is dependent how hard you are on the phone and the curvature of the device. Phones with rubberized backs and multi angled backs tend to peel alot faster. IPhones because they are flat and glass the Armor literally lasts forever. AGAIN if you pick at it constantly or most commonly if your a woman that wears tight pants and putting in your pocket it can cause it to peel fast.
My advice keep it in somewhat loose areas and don't stuff it anywhere super tight and it should last forever. The $10 is a labor install fee if you go to our stores and want the Installer to completely redo the device and install it for you. You can get the kit for free if you want to do it yourself! Its really up to you.

As @Beezzy stated they peel in a few weeks. And quite frankly the Gorilla Glass is more than sufficient.. I used to have GA and ZAGG IS on mine, and after replacing them constantly due to peeling, air pockets, etc I took it off and had no screen protector. Not one scratch on my screen!

Not a scam but a very Nickel & Dime type company that pushed their employees to see "double layer armor" so it won't dent the material. Which raises the re do fees. They're not scam, just very sneaky.
You have your occasional bad sheep. We do not market double layer armor...Nor is it necessary. Is this something that happened to you? Our customer service dept could assist you with this.

Wow, if your skins are peeling off in a few weeks, try a reapplication. I've hadd Zagg on my one phone for a year, despite a key sratch on the back film, it's never peeled. To each their own, but it's not a scam. They work and work well!

Mine, too. That's why I use the SGP Neo Hybrid on my 4S, it's got a neoprene like inner bumper so no issues.
