iPhone6S UPS or Fedex shipment / US

Mine was shipped via Fed Ex with a delivery time of no later that 3pm. I sure wish I could pick it up earlier

I've been preordering for 4 years now and it's been 100% FedEx here in California. For MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, etc. UPS only is used for low value shipments like cases and accessories... at least for me.

Odd, I live in so cal and always get UPS for launch items. Sometimes fedex for items shipped at random times.

Well I can put this to rest, it looks like everyone is correct in here. My package just showed up tracking with UPS.... so it appears Apple's history with me of using FedEx is over. I'm thrilled to see it because UPS is a lot easier to get them to hold it at the local facility (FedEx often tells me they're going to hold it then sends it out for delivery). I have 4 phones coming and so far I can track 1 of them w\ UPS and my phone number.

Yup, I just got the tracking number to the only one I have shipped and it's going through UPS. I still have a 6S+ pending, though I imagine it'll be the same before the 25th.

For those of you that already have their tracking numbers and their phones shipped, which delivery service do they have you on? I'm hoping mine gets sent via UPS, so I don't have to do a WFH day and just pick it up from the local facility. What seems to be the consensus here?

Well, our local facility is about 25 miles away.... so not very local.

I have two phones coming on Friday, my card has been charged, but I don't have a tracking number yet. I had UPS hold my Apple Watch on launch day and I'd like to do the same for the iPhones.

Mine is UPS and Im dissappointed. UPS always ships late my my region. I remember when i got my 5s, it came at 8PM

I preordered with Verizon and they are shipping via FedEx. I believe Verizon has sent all my iPhones via FedEx.

Sweet! Thanks, I found both of my tracking numbers... now I can hold for pick up so I can pick them up as soon as the doors open! CAN'T WAIT!

They used FedEx for the iPhone 4. That was also when they ended up being delivered a couple days early, so maybe that's why they've been using UPS lately
