iPhone7 won't auto lock

Just received iPhone7. Can't figure out why it won't auto lock. Also can't lock screen with 'home' button. Never asks for passcode or touchID. Running 10.0.2. I have "require passcode immediately" is turned on. 'Auto lock' is set to 30 secs

Anyone else having this issue?

Any ideas?

Not sure what a restore is. I did a reset back to factory settings which didn't help.

Hmm, strange. If you've done the reset all settings you might want to contact Apple to see what they suggest.

After yet another reboot, it is now working. Very strange.
