The link you've posted doesn't work.

I use TalkCover.co.uk for £49 per year it is much cheaper than O2 and they have just paid up in full (less excess) for my stolen/lost 2G iPhone, so I was able to upgrade to the 3G and pocket £120.

Hm..the insurance is underwritten by red star, certainly not the best insurers out there! I would look elsewhere if i were you.

I'm with talkcover too. Fortunately I haven't had to make a claim, but their credentials all check out :)

"Natwest Advantage Gold" seems to be a good option.

    Thought this might help.

My general rule in regards to things like this is:

If you have to ask, it's a fraud.

    Don't take the risk.

A word of warning about iphoneinsurancecover.co.uk

I had a bad experience with iphoneinsurancecover.co.uk. Someone stole my iPhone from right under my nose (a thief distracted me while I was sitting with friends). They put a clause in the contract that just says you must "take reasonable care" which can mean anything really and they used that to try and not pay out for my phone (even though they had insured it for theft!). I had to go to the insurance ombusman and when they saw the facts they made them pay out for the phone but they put up a real fight and it took over a year to get any money back. Just a word of warning...

Epic thread bump, but I have the Barclays current account plus, pay £5 a month and mine is insured through that.

hahaha that site looks *so* dodgy. look at all the links near the bottom, just below that blue bar. and the text "iPhone Insurance Cover UK © 2012." the poor english. the pop ups. the graphics.

not to mention the URL. any site with an unnecessarily long URL like www.cheapiphone4australia.com or www.getdiscountediphoneshere.net is pretty much guaranteed to be a scam.
