So my friends called me last night and asked me if I wanted to go to a foam party. The first thing that came to my mind was, "you mean let's go get our iPhone water sensors tripped!?" For the first time, I worried about a phone. And I blame these fourms :D

So you can't possibly go a couple hours without your phone? Unbelievable.

Thank god your life is controlled by your phone.

I have a nokia dumb phone laying around, and use that when engaging in activities that may compromise my iphone.

No it does not control my life. We all went. Just left our phones in the car. But there were lots of people there in the foam taking pictures with thier iPhones. Smart people don't take thier expensive phones into hazardous conditions silly. Just though it was kind of funny and I'd share.

lol.. I wouldn't have taken mine in either.

Speaking of a bar/club thread this morning (i'm just waking up with a horrible hangover. my brothers bachelor party was last night) I dropped my iphone for the first time ever. Coming out of a bar in downtown Ann Arbor last night. It broke my case, but there isn't a mark on my phone. :D

I wouldn't recommend anyone bring any type of cell phone to a foam party. I remember a few years back I had a phone ruined at one of those and it was even in my pocket the whole time. I guess it does also depend on the type of foam they are using. There is that new "dry" foam that they have but I'm not sure on actually how dry it is. I know after I got out of the party I was soaked and my clothes weighed a TON.

I was going to say, leave it in the car????? but obviously one of your friends is smarter than you...:p

Its basically a club filled with foam.

Stobe lights and loud music.

Keeping your i phone with you when you are in foam party is not a good idea as i think. There is a big risk to get your favourite toy hurt.As you left it in the car i think you took the right descision at right time.I appriciate it.
