iPhones crashing more after 2 years of use

Do you find that iPhones generally crash more after about 2 years? Is this normal?
 
I never had any issues even with my iPhone XS (work phone) after all this time on iOS 16.1. My iPhone 11 Pro never had any crashes except for one game that I deleted as it crashed all the time. My current iPhone 14 Pro has never crashed
 
My XS has been rock solid since I got it back in ‘18. Just over 4 years of use and no crashes, reboots, freezing, etc. to report. I do have to change the battery at some point as it is down to 75% health.
 
Old batteries on cold mornings that are getting low on charge are prime candidates for crashing the OS.
If it ever happens, be sure to check the battery health setting because after a crash iOS will throttle the iPhone from then on to glacial speed until you reset the battery setting.

Never had that problem either, I used my iPhone 6s Plus for six years and it worked fine. Currently using a two-year-old iPhone 12 Pro Max and it has been very reliable too.
 
The only time I ever had a iPhone do anything was when I ran out of battery and then it simple shut down
