Hi, my first post to this forum.
I'm running iPhoto 08 (version 7.1.5). Whenever I change the generic event date name (ie, from June 20, 2010 to Day at the Ballgame), my photos disappear.
I know they're not permanently gone, but the corruption of this basic function is extremely annoying.
I have used the rebuild function (all options checked), to no avail.
I see that in my Photo Library, both "Original" and "Modified" folders.
My Photo Library is located within the "shared" users directories, since multiple users are adding/editing the photos.
Additionally, any recent imports from my camera are also "lost" or disconnected once the import in finished.
I have backed up my imac via TimeMachine to external HD.
Any help would be appreciated.
