We are trying to author a dvd of a slideshow to view on a TV.
We have created the slideshow in iPhoto and have added titles to the picture. When we burn the iDVD of the slideshow, the titles are cut off.
We have checked the aspect ratio to be 4:3 for TV in iPhoto and set the Preferences/Advanced to "High compatibility mode/Fit to TV" checkbox as well.
When we view the slideshow DVD on a TV, the titles are cut off on the left side. This is on an HD TV when we view it as normal (4:3) or zoom/stretch/fill.
It's as if iPhoto is writing the captions outside of the screen area.
Any ideas? Searching support.apple.com hasn't helped yet.
Greatly appreciate any advice. One thing we came across while google-ing involved using 3rd party software to render the titles after iPhoto creates the .MOV file.
