Hey. Every-time I startup Leopard iPhoto automatically opens. I just got my first Mac a few months ago. Is this normal? Its getting a bit annoying. I don't have any cameras or iPods connected but I am sending some galleries to mobile me.

I don't see any preferences referring to startup.

Thanks!

If you right click the iPhoto icon in the dock uncheck the "Open at Login". To check your startup items go to System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items.

Yup, that did it. I must have right clicked the icon one day without me knowing.

Thanks a bunch. And such a simple solution. Makes me feel dumb.

I realize you already fixed your problem, but just so you know even a little more, this video explains how to make applications, files and folders open, or not open automatically during login. (In this case obviously not using the right click method for used for applications in the dock)
