Iphoto assistance

Hi, can someone tell me if its possible to create a folder in iphoto called 2008 and than within that folder have all the pictures sorted by events ?
Basically right now i have pictures going back to 2001 and i have them sort by event only and it creates so many events and thought it would be cleaner to have a year folder and the events for each year within those folders.

Try creating an album for all 2008 pics ?

Edit: Just re-read your post and an album won't let you have the events below the album - which is what I think you're trying to do...?

ok thanks, i guess the best thing is to just use events, since thats pretty much easy and organized.
I just wish you can sort events by Month, is there a way we can do that ? I know you can do a few days or weeks but i could not find month.
