iPhoto imports the RAW format from my Rebel XTi very nicely, and I usually just drag it from iPhoto to Photoshop for editing. But for photos that I took in "portrait" orientation, where iPhoto has to rotate the image 90 degrees, iPhoto seems to change its proxy to a JPEG image rather than the RAW. So when I drag it in to Photoshop, it opens right away instead of the RAW processing screen. I have to right-click the image in iPhoto and choose "Reprocess RAW," and after that when I drag the image to Photoshop, it opens the RAW like it should. Is there a way to just make iPhoto ALWAYS use the RAW, so I don't have to do that right-click thing? It's irritating.
