iphoto faces issue?

iPhoto face issue - picture included
When I double click a face, iPhoto shows all of the pictures of that face - normal. HOWEVER, when I click the top right arrows to see a new face (and its corresponding pictures), I get a blank screen (see attached) - then I click the right arrow again and it goes back to normal, showing me another face (and its corresponding pictures). what's wrong?! 😡😕🙁

right click on iphot library to expand and delete the faces file. I had same issue and deleted and started all over again and no problems since
face.db
face_blob.db
just to specify for anybody else in the future who wants to know - these two files are in package contents of iphoto but ONLY in iPhoto in "Pictures" not the on in "Applications"
