Hey there, I'm in need of a little help as regards my iPhoto library.

Until very recently all of my photos were showing up in iPhoto just fine, and then without warning and without having renamed, updated or deleted any files or applications, they won't show up in my iPhoto.

I found the photographs, and they're all listed as being in the iPhoto library, however when I tried to transfer the files to iPhoto via some nifty desktop-tp-iPhoto swopsies, I get the message

"The following files could not be imported (they may be an unrecognised file type or the files may not contain valid data).

Which is pants, seeing as they're shown as being in the bloomin' iPhoto folder...

How do I get my library back?

Any help would be gratefully received- and don't hasten to point out what an idiot I've been.

    Thanks already!

    x

I'd assume you have a back up (time machine or otherwise). Follow the instructions at http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2638 (and follow the correct link if you have older versions). Good luck.
