iPhoto help

Hello, Newby mac user here....I have all of my photos on Dropbox and I was hoping I could set up iPhoto albums to match the structure? I've tried importing the albums but they just seem to copy all the photographs over and don't compile them in a folder like way.

Any help/advice would be appreciated 🙂

Preferences -> Advanced -> Tick off "Copy items to iPhoto Library"
