iphoto - import reversal

Hi
I am new to Macs and have just dabbled with iphoto.
Somehow I have imported a whole load of pictures such as flowers, flags and icons etc. They belong to the mac system somewhere as I have not added anything to the mac. I want to trash them (if they still exist in their original location) or get them back to their original location if they have been moved

Does anyone have any idea what I have done and how I can correct it.

Just move them to the trash in iPhoto. They are most likely just some stock photos Apple put there for samples.

Or is this not your question?
