Hello,

I cannot find my iPhoto Library file... I had almost 17,000 pictures, and now when I start iPhoto it shows an empty window to choose a new library or use an existent.

But there is no library anymore under my pictures folder...

I used Data Rescue 3 and Virtual Lab do not find pictures in my HD... please help... how can I spotlight or find iPhoto Library in case I moved it somewhere else?

Use Disk Inventory X, GrandPerspective or OmniDiskSweeper to fin where all the HDD space is gone, thus you find big folders and files, and an iPhoto Library with 17.000 images should be several GB.

Have you already looked into the Trash? Do you have any Time Machine or other backup? Or do you have an external HDD, where you might have put it on?
