iPhoto losing images

Whenever i scroll though my iPhoto library, many of the images will disappear. The thumbnails are there at first, but will disappear and be replaced with a "!" icon. Cant figure out how to fix this.

Have you done anything to/with your photos in the library in finder? Reorganizing them, renaming them etc.? That is a sure cause of the problem you are having. Must stay out of that file! Having said that, a reuild may help. See here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2638
