iPhoto Problem

After screwing around with my iPhoto libary its decided to save all my recent photo's to my ext.HD... and only the Ext.HD. which is fine by me...But can I safely throw out my int. HD iphoto libary with out screwing something else up... It would be great to gain back 2.5 GB on my poor old 20GB memory
G3 pismo running OSX Panther... thanks.
PS. apparently all the older photos are on the ext.HD too.

As long as the library is on the external HD, its fine to delete the library. It saved me over 100GB of space on my internal HD.
