Hello all,
I've been importing my photos to iPhoto '08 from my Memory stick without a problem. However, when I want to upload a photo to multiply.com, I cannot find the file to upload.

I start this way :Finder-->users-->myname-->pictures-->iPhotoLibrary... and it stops there. A friend told me that you can go "Year-->month-->day" from there to find the image, but there is literally no way for me to do that. When I click on the iPhotoLibrary and ask for "more info" it says that it's a *file* that opens with iPhoto - and if I click on the icon, it does just that.

If I name a picture and search for it in spotlight it does give a path "iPhotoLibrary-->modified-->year-->day-->name of jpg, but there's no way to get there from Finder.

Help! What am I doing wrong?? :( I'd prefer to not use spotlight, as a former PC user, I'm used to exploring files and folders.

I would never browse through the iPhoto library(you do anythign wrong, you can muck it up), but rather, you should export them from within iPhoto to a seperate folder.

They made the iPhoto library a package to prevent people from messing with it. If you right-click on it and select “show package contents” it will open a new windows with a bunch of files and folders.. and your pics. But it will be hard to find what you want.

What I do is just drag the pic from iPhoto onto the desktop. It will make a copy of it. Upload the pic or do whatever you want with it, then trash it when you’re done

Thanks for all the wonderful suggestions and replies! I noticed on the apple website how iPhoto 09 has an "upload to Facebook" link built right in - that would be awesome.

Any thoughts when iPhoto 10 would come out? I just upgraded to SL, can't afford anything more just now.
