iPhoto slideshows

In iPhoto '05, is there a reason why when you make a slideshow it makes a new 'album' thing on the left side? I kinda like how in iPhoto '04 that it just went to a slideshow without making a separate thing for it. Is there a reason for this or some advantage that I don't know of? But I do like the new transitions and what not compared to '04.

I believe it's to save your slide shows so you can play or edit them again later. This is more important now because you have a lot more control over the slideshows functions.
