iPhoto update 9.2.1

I have tried to update it, but it always stops at "Moving items to place..." and it sits for hours. 😡
is it because I got 30gb of images in it? 😕
and the HDD is not active while it does that according to iStat menus.

I didn't know where to post this so I just post it here since I have a MBP 2011 15"

downloaded the update from here ran it in less than a min no problems

Samething happened 😱
i can't quit it unless I force quit it, or install anything else when it happens, not even shut down the laptop :/ unless I force it to 🙁
this mac has been a big dissapointment, but I still love it 😛

is there anywaty to uninstall iPhoto? without losing data? I can't op iPhoto 😕
