Hi all..

Using latest verionn of iPhoto, and came across something.

I have a whole bunch of photo, while we were vacation-ing.200+ or so. As far as I know I don't think the camera has GPS built in.

Howver, I'd like to import thiese photos into iphone (they are currently on a hosted PC all in sepate folders, so netweking them over isn't going to be a problem)

Once I've have then I would need to manually tell iiphoto Faces and where were they taken. which shouldn't take too long. As i understand it anyway, iphoto would copuple the rest up with the same face and location info to tag the rest of the photos.

Howver, the final stage is, I want to export these "edited" photos, inluding metadata (info i've givin iphoto about faces/locations for photo(s)) onto DVD to play as a slideshow to show family on their HD.

I'm not sure, but I think the iphoto tagging (weather automatic if GPS info was tagged with photo, or manually face/location based done by user) is only unique to iPhoto.. That, is no other applecation will pick this up. But I could be wrong here.

Is there anyway (if possible) to keep this info in tact when exporting/saving to DVD, which by the way, I'm assmiing you do for direct from iphoto ?
