Hi guys,

i can say im quite new to iPhoto.
im a quite conventional person, who organises his photos in folders without the help of iphoto library, but thats gonna change.

however i notice that theres an edit function in the photo, and i played with it
when i finish editing the photo (cropping and whatevermore) iphoto hides the original?, is there a way, where you can still show you old image?

and the other thing is, i notice when i open the iphoto library contents, theres a modified and originals folders, and i found that some of the UNMODIFIED pictures are also in the MODIFIED folders, which kinda useless
i didnt want to delete or anything since i was afraid that itll mess up the library

anyway, im hearing all thoughts
thanks

any tips and trick for iphoto are welcome

I much prefer to have my digital assets stored in easily accessed folders. So much easier to change systems - if need arises, or simply access files with different programs.

You can disable the iPhoto import of your existing files by disabling iPhoto>Preferences>Extended>Copy objects...

Same here..
but i really like the "faces" and "places" features of iPhoto
is there anyway to make a specific folder a library?, similar like itunes where you can set a specific folder?
