When I upgraded recently to Yosemite, I noticed that There are now two libraries on my system. One is for the new Photos, called Photos Library.photoslibrary, but the other is called "iPhoto Library.migratedphotolibrary

These two library files" are over 77GB each.

Question: Do I need both of these huge files or can I delete the one with migrated in the title (Since I can't seem to open/use iPhotos now).??

Once you have verified all the photos got migrated into the new Photos library, you can just delete the old iPhoto library.

If you want to keep it though, it is not really using double the space like it appears. Give this a read.
