Dear all, I am the developer of the app iPinPoint, which is available for free on the appstore.

iPinPoint is an easy to use app to measure angle and lengths of objects or distances.

Either use the iPhone camera or the GPS device to pinpoint the dimensions of the object or the angle.

A new version (1.1) has been recently released. This version brings a new and unique feature:
The app will calculate the perimeter and the area of a circle. This feature, however, is not free (it costs $0.99), and you can purchase it by clicking on the "AddOn" button.

Hope you like it. I am looking forward to comments/suggestions.

    Thank you

gave it a try on my 5s

The angle one works good but the length I couldnt get to work. Also every picture I used got distorted and stretched, would also be nice to just be able to take a picture from the app and not have to take the pic with the camera and then open the app. looks like a promising app, keep up the good work!

For the length you need to pinpoint 4 points, the first two are for the yardstick, and the second two define the length of the object of interest. Then, you click on the calculate button, and you enter the length of the yardstick. For more information, please visit http://www.i-smartsolutions.com/ipinpoint

Regarding the camera issue, well, you can take a picture within the app. I am wondering if this is an issue with 5s. When you clicked on the camera button, did it take you directly to your album or did it ask you if you want to use your camera or your album?
