Hi folks.

Random question and I’m pretty sure I know the answer...

Wife accidentally updated my iPod to iOS 11.

Was on 10.3.3. Used for music and a few 32 but apps that won’t run on iOS 11.

Is there any hope? I have only ever updated via iCloud, no iTunes backups.

I did try to download the older ipsw file but it is not signed by Apple any more.

Can I use an shbh blob from someone else’s iPod?

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Thanks!

No you cannot downgrade.

shsh blobs are device specific and wouldn't help in this situation anyway. That's more of a thing for older iPhone models.

Is it really slower ? I have resisted upgrading but would be keen to understand if it is really a problem...

Since 11.3 or so it's been pretty smooth. It may have been a little quicker on 9, but it still works great.
