If you have the IPOD holder in the center arm rest area, the correct insert should be the one your IPOD can slip into. Just figure out which one is the correct size, hold the one that is in your car and pull it upwards, it should come right out, install the one that is your correct size and rock on.

Does it work with the new ipod nano?
Hi there, I've recently had an ipod connector installed into my mk6 golf, and soon discovered the same problems as everyone else with my iphone. Does anyone know if the new nano works with the connector as I was thinking about purchasing one just for the car but obviously don't want to fall into the same trap again. Can anyone help??
