iPod ipod and cell phones

So yesterday I was at the market and was listening to my iPod when I walked past someone talking on their cell phone and my iPod sounded like it got a quick static shock and turned off. I don't know if it was a coincidence or what. It's working fine, but I thought that was a bit weird. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

never happened to me. maybe it was a coincidence, or maybe something other than the cell phone was in the vicinity with a stronger magnetic field

Try playing a video on an iPod video and then holding a mobile phone very close to it 😉
