Other than that, whos all for cheap gimmicks to get people to come to church, right?

Maybe they might give "free" shuffles to all new visitors during this time!

What's so bad about the video? It looks pretty well produced to me.

And revfife,

I'm not so sure it's a cheap gimmick to get people to go to church. While the marketing of an iPod may grab people's attention, the sermons are actually taking ideas/principles the iPod actually use, and applying them to people's lives. I would know. I go to the church.

My church has around 5 iPods for event music and all the pastors use iBooks, powerbooks and one dual G5 (for editing). But seriously! A whole sermon about iPods? I wanna see that! At first I thought it was a little crazy, but then again my pastor did include an Xbox 360 in a sermon.

I am a minister and I have an iPod. There is nothing wrong with talking about how using the iPod applies to people's live, but what about people in the congregation that don't have an iPod? Or are all these churches from the same income brackets? Would this sermon series make them feel left out or not good enough since they don't own the latest and greatest? Not criticizing, just a lot of questions about how we "do" church today.

About 20 Goths regularly attend the 45-minute service
A vicar is running a unique service in Cambridge designed for people interested in the darker side of life.
The Reverend Marcus Ramshaw, associate vicar at St Edward King and Martyr Church, said about 20 Goths regularly attend the 45-minute service.

The service includes a specially written liturgy and Goth music, such as Depeche Mode and Sisters of Mercy.
