Hello!

I'm new here, so I apologize if this is in the wrong place.
Anyways, Ive been lookin for an app that I'm not even sure exists, so I'm coming here to see if anyone knows of one. I have a 4th generation 32gb iOS 5 iPod touch and I need an app that will turn the iPod into a Bluetooth headset. I've seen a few similar requests, but they ultimately hoped to turn the iPod into a working phone. All I need it for is to replace the broken headset I've been using with my PlayStation 3. So it isn't anything too complicated, just an app that would allow me to sync my iPod with my ps3 and use it as a headset.

So the question now is, does it exists?

I don't think you can do that, apple is very limiting. It would be in your best interest to go to Walmart and buy one of their cheap $20 Bluetooth headsets and you can pair that to your ps3. Hope I helped :)

As already stated, you can't. But it's not Apples fault. When a device is bluetooth it needs an Identifier. This is so devices can recognize what each other is. It prevents you from registering a Keyboard to a headset, or a keyboard as a headset on your computer.

If you jailbroke your iPod and found an Application/Hack that changed the identifier of the iPod to a headset, I suppose it could work in theory. But it's best to look that up before continuing.
