iPod touch iPod Automatically switches on!

Hiya
Well, recently, since around 2 days, whenever i switch off my iPod Touch, completely, (leaving power button pressed, then red slider etc..) it switches off, lol. But then in about 5-6 minutes, it switches on again, automatically, the Apple Logo appears, and then springboard comes?
Anyone know why this happens? Recently, I installed a Battery App which shows more info about your battery status, but i took that out right when this problem happened.
I've got an iPod Touch 1.1.1 Jailbroken, and really don't feel like restoring it! 😛

Anyone got any suggestions?
If not i suppose ill restore

my guess is that you cant fix it, try 1.1.4, with ziphone, or iliberty+

ziphone is really safe right..no worries at all? like it doesnt do any permanent thin to ur ipod right?

if you do the wifi fix for versionv earlier than 3.0, it will, i would use iliberty +, i have yet to hear bad news about it

oh it will do permanent change???...and wats tht wifi fix abt..+ i have windows..so iLiberty wudnt work rite..only ziphone?

Might be a short in the power switch. Might be a flaw in the autolock routine. Might be a ghost in your house.

I'd install new firmware, or at least restore it. If it's a software glitch that may take care of it. If it's a ghost, I say let it play with your Touch. 😉

:lol:! last time i tried iTunes wudnt let me restore..it siad somethin like..this iPod 'iPod' cannot be restored or somethin..then somehow i did it..

try going vanalla on 1.1.4, and if it still does it, bring it to the apple store, so the jailbreak is ruled out as a possible problem

no need now..just finished jailbraking it with iLiberty..got Installer etc..working great now ! 😀

it happened again! switched on again automatically! way shut I do even after having installed 1.1.4 yesterday jailbroken?
