iPod ipod battery level vs itunes

if my ipod photo battery is relly low does that effect the way it responds in i tunes that is to say the way it takes forever to manually move songs between playlists???😕

OK so the speed of adding a song to a playlist on the Nano than the iPod photo with the same computer?

Is the song already on the iPod in another playlist? If not the Nano has flash memory and is designed for USB so will be quicker.
