ok, this is ridiculous: My GF more or less forces me to get a music system setup for our living room. There is no space for a large stereo system. So I plan on the following: ipod touch 32GB ($399) connected to a Bose Wave System 2 ($499) and put her Music library onto a new MB ($1599) she get's the MB paid by work, i pay for the touch and the Bose Wave. Means, I'll have to do setup and maintainance, have access to a MB. All fine. Does this system make sense in terms of sound quallity and ease of use? Is there a update for the Bose Wave System coming out soon? I don't want to buy old tech. Bose sells a extra ipod dock for the wave system with a remote. is it worth it? i know wasting a MB only as a itunes library machine is bad. but as I said we get it from work and i would probably put my old powerbook there and use the MB for real work.
