iPod Ipod bought in 2013

Hello Group,
My wife has a iPod 160Gigs but she downloads from Audible and the download speed from the computer to the iPod is very slow.
We are wondering if it is time for a new one. I have to say she uses a lot.

Tom you could always have someone replace the hard drive or change it to a flash based iPod.

I went to the apple store and get an out of warranty repair, which means you pay a fee like the $109 for the classic and get anew ipod with a 90 day warranty

Where in NJ are you? I live in PA and work in NJ.

You mean a "Refurbished" Ipod with a 90 day warranty??

Its essentially a brand new Classic, an Apple white box replacement

We about 17 miles from an Apple Store. About a 30 minute ride.
