hey all,

i purchased my ipod from apple.ca about 2 weeks ago and my battery life is extremely short (about 6 hours) on my new ipod 60gb video. i don't want to send it in to apple and have them send me out a replacement because it would take too long and instead wanted to know if it was possible to purchase the same ipod at london drugs for example in Canada and then return the faulty ipod back to them for a full refund.

is this possible?

thanks,
ipaqman

Don't think so. Certainly not here in Australia and I imagine it's the same in Canada because Apple want's to ensure you have a faulty iPod before replacing it.

I remember w/ my 1st 40gb 4g the battery would run itself down in 8 hours w/ the iPod off but they wouldn't replace it...I hate to be the pessimist, but they might not even accept it :/

In any case, how about you check out the Apple Sales and Refund Policy
