iPod iPod Classic 120GB Static Noise

Does anyone hear static when changing volume or just moving the clickwheel on the iPod Classic (120GB)?

I have heard that static noise when changing volume levels on my 3G iPod nano on every headphone I own (Creative EP-640, Creative EP-830, JVC HA-FXC50-B, Sony MDR-EX90LP and Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3 studio). I don't find that an annoyance, though. 🙂

I just want to make sure it's not a manufacturing defect and that it won't lead to more problems in the future. 😀
