iPod Ipod Classic -> Fat32 ?

Hi,
i got a question about formatting the ipod classic with Fat32.
The point is that i would like to install windows from an image and for this experiment i need a usb drive.
Moreover i must create a new partition and format the usb.

Do you think the ipod will survive 😀
Or should i better look for an other usb drive.

I used my iPod classic to install leopard 2 years ago when my superdrive was broken. Installed just fine and had no problems with my iPod, I ended up leaving the partition on there, came in handy a few times!
