I have an iPod Photo and I want to show them on a tv. I have the adapter that makes the RCA cables into a mini jack. Mine don't work and Apple says I have to use theirs. What makes theirs so special? What would work?

On the mini plug, does it have two plastic stripes or three?

That's probably the problem. I'm pretty sure that it requires three stripes. That's the way it was set up on the cables for the old iBooks with the composite video out.
