When I plug in my ipod ever since a little water got on it, it works just fine but when I plus it in to my computer, it doesnt' say do not disconnect I can still hear my songs it acts like when it does when you plug into the wall.

    What can I do?

I asked apple discussions but they are ignoring me so if you know that'd be so awseome.

    what?

Please clarify your question. Are you saying that the USB connection does not work but you are able to still hear music through the audio plug?

    BTW, water + iPod = :(

My ipod was dropped in the toilet...

I took it apart as quickly as possible, let all the pieces dry out, then scraped off all residue left on connectors and such. And it works fine.

Either A) you are going to have to take it to the apple store. Good luck...

or B) you are going to have to open it up and take a look at it.

Edit: Or do what iParis said. Hahaha much much more logical. :)

Force it into hard disc mode.
First; hold center and menu until you see the apple logo. This restarts it.
Second; right when you see the apple logo appear, hold down center and play/pause, this will put it in hard disc mode which makes it think it's plugged into a computer.
Third; plug it into your computer. Then sync it and do all that crap.
Forth; once you're done syncing it, eject it from the computer, unplug it, and then do step one again.

Note: if it doesn't show up in iTunes if it's in hard disc mode, then you're screwed.

Wow, I have no idea how that would happen or how to fix it.
    Nothing I've ever heard of.

I had a frozen iPod today, and, having consulted this section of the forum to see if ant advice already given might be of benefit, came across this thread. Having followed your advice, for now, it seems to be revived and is happily recharging in its playing dock. Thanks. It may be a hint to get a new one (it's over two years old), but heartfelt thanks for now.
    Cheers
