Now that double-clicking the home button launches the multitasking dock, what happens to the iPod Controls that used to pop up prior to OS 4?

Now that double-clicking the home button launches the multitasking dock, what happens to the iPod Controls that used to pop up prior to OS 4?

I'd imagine that they are gone, but now that there is multitasking, going to the iPod app shouldn't be much of a hassle at all.

I think on the lock screen, double tapping will still bring up the iPod controls

Correct, iPod controls will still open on the lockscreen when you tap the home button twice.
