Ipod converter.

i have done a quick search and used the sticky above but surprisingly i haven't found a good answer.

I want 2 programs:

One to convert normal AVI etc files for my iPod

And the other to rip DVD's to iPod format.

Suggestions?

1. Visualhub (or the free version iSquint)

2. Handbrake (free)

They are the handiest to use

advice

1. iSquint (free) or VisualHub ($20ish, but well worth the money, more options and faster than iSquint)

2. Mac the Ripper and THEN Handbrake (both free). Handbrake seems to work much faster on a disk image, and the developers even suggest using Mac the Ripper instead of directly ripping off of a DVD.
