iPod touch Ipod Crashing Issues

Well I have a ipod touch 4g, not jailbroken. I was downloading a update to the facebook app, it fully loaded then spent the entire day on installing, the randomly crashed and hasnt restarted.

Is their anytihing I can do to make it come back to life?
 
I don't really understand your question. But I think what you mean is the app is not working. Or is it your iPod is bricked (Not responding to button presses and taps)? Please be more specific.
