Hey,

I had to restore my 3rd gen Ipod and now I can't remove some of the sub-menu options such as:

playlists
on-the go
genres
composers
audiobooks

I had all of these removed before the restore. Can anyone help?

I'm not sure I get it. Are you saying that you go to Settings -> Main Menu and then check these items to off, but they still appear in the menu?

no, i mean right after that menu.

This is the first screen:
Music
Extras
Settings
etc.

If you select Music it looks like this:
Playlists
Artists
Albums
Songs
Genres
Composers
AudioBooks

I used to be able to remove the following sub-menus:
Playlists
Genres
Composers
Audiobooks

I'm having trouble removing them through itunes.

I've never known of a way to remove them from the second level menu...sorry. Are you sure you used to be able to do that?
