hey guys
a quick question: how would one transfer data from a pc to a mac with an ipod that is formatted for a mac. I've tried putting it in disk mode, but the pc still wants to format it. Am i correct in thinking that the pc formatting it would mean erasing all the data on the ipod? how would i use the ipod to get the data from the pc to the mac?
thanks for the input

Yes, formatting on the PC would wipe the iPod. There's no way to use the mac formatted iPod on a PC without extra software (MacDrive), or repartitioning/reformatting the iPod drive in a PC compatible format (FAT32 or NTFS).

The best "solution" is to wipe and reformat the iPod from iTunes on a PC and then re-sync it with the Mac it was synced to.
