When I charge my new 5g iPod..... the indicator says its fully charged! but, when I disconnect it, the indicator drops ever so slightly... I have restarted the iPod as well as restoring it... but it keeps doing the same!?

Is this a faulty iPod!? or will it sort its self out in time!!?

the battery indicator on the iPods are notoriously off. Use it as a rough estimate (like if it's halfway full, the charge is around 30-70% kind of thing), don't take it at face value :p my iPod mini often runs for another 4 hours or so with what appeares to be a completely empty battery icon.

Mine does the same thing. My 4th gen click wheel did too. It is normal to see this. I now have mine hacked with iPod Wizard so it gives me battery life in percentage. It is more accurate too.
