iPod touch iPod firmware 1.1.5

You know what's funny. I used to say that Apple would probably release a 1.1.5 and EVERYONE yelled at me saying "No, it's going to be 2.0 and that's it!!!". Hah! 1.1.5 is here! TAKE THAT!

I understood why they released it, I just didn't notice anything being faster.
 
You can still buy Touches that have 1.1.2 on them. Up to $50 less than a Touch with 1.1.4.

Did the 1.1.5 update come with the january apps? If so, it means the January update are now free, and the net price of a Touch is way down.

I just jailbroke my iPod Touch 32gb with ziphone a few days ago, what will happen to it when I upgrade to 1.1.5 and 2.0?
 
So far all the reports of 2.0.0 indicate it is slow, buggy and very few of the apps for sale are worth it. The free ones are mostly lead-ins to buy "full" versions.

Installer and Cydia are better on a jailbroken 1.1.4 or 1.1.5 than 2.0.0 and the app-store.

why don't you try it first? The only app that's buggy, as far as I can tell, is Address Book. None of the free ones I have are lead ins (except twitterific --and that's just add supported)

2.0 is pretty nice and monkeyball is more than worth the $20 (ten for the store, ten for the game)

i upgraded to 1.1.5 but i dont like it lol.
so im trying to download the 1.1.4 again buttttt

I wasn't expecting it to make things faster. Others have been saying it made things faster and I was just saying I didn't see any speed increase.
