I got an IPod a while back and installed ITunes onto my brothers computer. By now, my music has used up most of his memory. Is there anyway to transfer all that music to another computer? Or keep the music on his computer but take up less memory?

wow...

this seems like a reaally noobish question. o well

you should be able to burn it to cds which would get it off the system

you could also decrease the bitrate but that would also decrease the quality of the music

I know that sounds like a noob questin, but i have over 2000 songs, that would be a lot of CD's.
Thank you for the advice, i'll try it.

Wait don't go for the CD's there's a better way...

Download Senuti for Mac Here or Sharepod for Windows: Sharepod

You stick Sharepod/Senuti on your iPod drive from the Finder Sidebar or My computer (first you need to enable disk use on the iPod) then you can copy your music straight off your iPod onto your new computer...

If you use windows you will need to download the "*.ocx" files on the sharepod website too (as most windows pcs DONT have them...)

Hope this helps...

If you're not that fussy about audio quality I suppose you could convert all the songs to 128kbps AAC (if they aren't already) - that would save quite a bit of space over 2000 songs (but might take a while!)
