iPod/iPhone 3.0 backups

I've been experiencing dramatically slow backups on my 1st gen ipod touch with the 3.0 gm software. Anyone else?

EDIT: i've been hearing that its caused by the ESPN app ScoreCenter...

About how long?
I hope we dont have to deal with that slow backup thing like we did with 2.0
It used to take over 45 minutes 🙁

ive tried deleteing backups but that hasnt helped....

Yep, they pulled that out.
I thought they were going to lose since Magic was up thruout most of the game.
